The detachable hood not only protects from drizzle but also safely comes off if it gets caught on something when children are playing outdoors. The pants stay up thanks to the elasticated, adjustable suspenders and the removable foot loops are easy to pop under rubber boots or waterproof trainers to keep hems in place.
